Apexi exhaust valve controller

anyone seen this item? goes between your midpipe and exhaust, you can change the valve inside the cabin to see how much flow is going through and db (noise). anyone tried it or know if you leave it wide open if it will hurt performance?

I had one in my FC for awhile until it got ripped off when I went off into the dirt a bit at the track.

It does hinder performance a bit but the convenience of it is well worth it. I was able to start my car at any time of the day, night, morning etc... and not worry about neighbors complaining. Half closed makes it a little differenece but fully closed makes it super quiet.

If you have problems with police etc where you are it is also a good investment.
