Apexi Dual N1 Exhaust Sound

I am interested in getting an Apexi Dual N1 exhaust system for my 3rd gen but lot of people say it sounds like ****.

Does anyone have a video or sound clip of this exhaust?

Thanks.

Search for the thread called "exhaust buyers guide" Its got a bunch of pages but i remeber seeing 3 or 4 sound clips of the N1 duals with mps and with out. i agrree with most that they sound very crappy (lawn mower status i would say) and are exremely loud. I have an the GT Spec on my car and i love it. very low groan but not loud and sounds very clean. hope it helps

if you run them with a resonated midpipe(or stock MP) you will get a bareable note with moderate drone.....but with the open MP and DP(no cat) you will hate life after a weeks worth of driving.....lol....VERY LOUD....

get a 2ft straight piece of pipe and stick it in any aftermarket FD exhaust, and thats pretty much how the N1 Duals sound.

I personally like the sound of the Apexi N1 Dual. without the cat, it is a bit loud, really loud. I run the N1 dual with a resonated midpipe (actually a large muffler instead of a cat) but the sound is deep and pretty good (i think so at liest). With a resonated MP the exhaust note is nice - with strght pipe its retarded loud.

The N1 exhaust does get hot, much hotter than a Ti Exhaust would, which means it throws huge flages. But then again, what FD with stright exhaust dosent. Im a fan of the N1 sound, but i am definately in the minorty on that one.

Thanks for everyone's input. I had a look at that past thread and listened to a few of the videos and agree it kinda does sound like a lawnmower

I have decided to go with the RB Dual tip exhaust.

Thanks again.
