APEXi coolant tank, anyone tried it in their FD???

Like the title says. my stock coolant reservoir has split at a seem and would like to know if anyone's tried this one before i commit to buying it.

200+ for a replacement AST is just silly. Apexi is just reaming us with a price that high. That said, there are MANY alternatives to the Apexi one that will do the job just as good, take up less room, and are much much cheaper.

dude, it's not as an AST you DO have an expansion tank reservoir by the passengers side headlight, that's what i was talking about, my AST is a Pettit it's fine.

My god the welds on that are horrendous! I wouldnt get it just because it looks so incredibly disgusting. If you want the apexi name just get a stock replacement and put a sticker on it, hahaha

well, if you would call it by the proper term people wouldn't get confused. It's called an overflow tank .

It doesnt look like that will easily fit in the spot where the stock one does. Why spend $219 on that thing? Just get a nice brand new one from Malloy mazda, he ships for free and offers club discounts. Call up Ray at 888 533 3400 if you want to go that route. The new ones are a nice white in color (rather than the faded yellow), that's one of my next purchases.
