apexi avcr and power fc

hi all

i have a avcr boost controller and i was wondering if it is possible to patch the standard wiring loom into the apexi avcr map sensor so it will supply both the avcr and the power fc and dump the the factory map sensor or will i get false readings.
i would prefer to keep the avcr functions if possible and though this would save me buying another map sensor.

regards

chris

I doubt that would work, unless both sensors send the same signal for the same pressure readings.
Assuming that we're just talking about voltage output based on the pressure, you could probably test it with a multi-meter and a pressure/vacuum source and compare the readings between the two sensors at a number of points.
Even then I would still be suspicious of it working though. But I'm paranoid...

what im trying to suggest is using the one ( apexi) to supply the avcr and the power fc by slicing the wires into one connector.

best regards
