I'm trying to find a good spot to mount the AVC-R, and am having a hard time finding one. It just seemd to get in the way of everything.

I see from Dale's write up, he mounted it on the windshild above the mirror. Not going to work for me since I'm 6'2" and see through that space...

Anyone have a good location to mount it? And pictures always help.

I mounted mine in the empty DIN slot below my aftermarket radio. fits perfect in the slot, just needs something to cover the empty space. i just cut a piece of scrap plastic, spray painted it black, and mounted it with a glue gun. looks nice :-) if i had a pic i'd post it.

 

i just used the mounting unit comes with it and double sided taped it right below the lower DIN slot, I took out that DIN pocket thing though.
