Apex-i filter kit?
just wondering what is that round shinny metal metal thing you are soppesed to put in one of the hoses?

I think that's a mini filter or restrictor to keep the air pump silencer from making obnoxious noise.

I'd definitely install it - they put it in the kit for a good reason .
