Anything to quiet a Midpipe?

Anything to quiet a Midpipe?
I will be installing a SS midpipe soon.
OTher than welding a borla exhaust into
the midpipe, is there anythign I can do
to quiet the midpipe down??
Can you get a midpipe resonated??
if so how much??? and where do I look?
Does wraping the MIDPIPE with Heatwrap
quiet it down at all?? even noticable??

I don't see why wrapping the midpipe with heatwrap would quiet it down any though.
