Actually, the midpipe on my R1 was free. I advertised for a buddy who was selling a bunch; they went like hotcakes and he gave me the last one, shipped it for free too

Maybe try something along those lines; as long as it's a good friend and you can vouch for him and his parts, of course.

Thanks hommie. Its nice to know I'm not in this boat alone.

Come on. Surely someone wants to trade a midpipe for some sandwiches. How about some underdrive pullys? Or perhaps some spark plugs? Anything that will give me an excuse to work on the car.

We have ham, turkey, chicken, pastrami, AND salami.

Sure! I'll take a sandwich!

No seriously, I'm still waiting on an upper intake manifold, TB, TPS, a couple solenoids, and oil outlet pipes for the turbo to fall from the sky (or at least be offered to me at a reasonable price) since my car was stripped of those and many, many other things that I've already replaced. It's a damn shame having to spend hard-earned money on things you already owned. I'm a student, too ... but I quit my job last semester to try to find a "career" for when I graduate in two months. Oh my god I don't want to graduate. I love this place!

I still have about 2.5 years to go until I finish.
PM me your address and I'll be glad to mail you a sandwich.

HAHAHAHAHA!

You lucky bastard ... I want 2.5 years left! I love Chapel Hill ... I love my school. I'm even putting off applying to graduate until the last minute because I just don't want to close the door.
