Is anyone using a xs engineering intercooler core?

Just wondering whether anyone here is using a xs engineering core for their intercooler.I see the core is only like 475.Im sure the endtanks is where they get you on pricing though.Just thought id ask.Im having a hard time picking up a pfs smic.So I guess ill have to go with a front mount setup then.Although I heard through the grapevine that xs is working on a v mount setup for the fd.Im open to some suggestions.Keep in mind that I dont want to spend an arm and a leg on amn intercooler.Even thoiugh I know they cost a whole lot.
