Anyone using an upgraded radiator with the PFS intercooler?
If so, did you have problems with it pushing the pfs ic duct up? What brand did you have? Thanks.
I have a Fluidyne radiator and the PFS SMIC and intake. The radiator fits fine with the IC and duct, you just have to be careful that the duct does not smash the wires to the fans.
The problem is that the Fluidyne has welded on brackets and so the upper radiator hose sits a little higher than stock. This is preventing the PFS intake from sitting fully on the frame rail and the very front tip of the intake is rubbing the hood a little bit.
I got the Fluidyne for supposedly better fitment than the Koyo, but with the Koyo, you can reverse the brackets to make the radiator sit lower. I think I might have gone differently if I had it to do all over again.

I have the fluidyne/PFS combo... and yes, the fit is tighter... the welded tabs on the fluidyne were a mistake, but i do believe its the most efficient out there... next tim i drain mine, i'm planning on just mounting it to the underside of the frame tabs... that should do it.
The LUCKY thing w/ the PFS cooler is that you bolt it to the duct, so its forced to line up.

Gene,
I think I had my Mazdacomp rad and PFS IC in at the time. I had no fitment problem with the ducting. I don't have a fitment issue now with my M2 med ic and the same rad.
