Anyone use Yokohama AO32R tires?

I just ordered a pair of these Yokohama AO32R's for the rear, I need some traction, anyone know anything about these?

I have a set. They launch really well and have excellent cornering traction. Wheel hop and tail sliding is greatly reduced.

Treadwear seems to be very good for an R type tire. I expect to get about 7K miles out of them. (Thats more than a year for me.)

Only downside I can think of is that they are loud.

I could not disagree with you more!! They are better than any street tire on the market, mainly because they are an "R" compound tire.

Lunar7- I am curious to why you only bought these for the rear.

I'm curious too, why Pressurized only bought 1 pair for the rear.
I imagine the car would push real bad with "street" tires on the front and A032R's on the back.

I have a full set and love them, the main bonus for me is that once they lose traction you can actually get it back. With my old street tires once you started losing traction you were done, you became a passenger. They are also much more progressive, you don't just lose traction instantly you can feel it start to go and back off a little. In AutoX I think these tires are the best mod yet!
As for drag launching, with my old street tires I would get a lot of spin and smoke, with the A032R's I get wheel hop instead. hehe
