Anyone use a Jacobs coil ignition pack

I was using a TII coil with Mallory 6A digital igntion system this summer but about a 300 miles onto it my igntion started to go shitty again, obviously it was the TII coil. It was pretty damn old I guess and its resistance numbers weren't all that great either. I was wondering if anyone use something for the primary? Other then the TII? Liek a jacobs coil or something of the sort. I was searching on summit, and I havent seen too many coil packs with a double outlet like ours.

I use four Jacobs C4 coils in my car mounted below the brake master cyl The longest wire is about 7 inches long .Aem four channel amp powers them .The amp is the one everyone has trouble with ,me to .I think they will get it right .The coils put out a great spark .I have used Motorcycle aftermarket coils that were smaller and easy to mount. I have also used the other big Jacobs coils but the C4 coils match the color I use under the hood .

By the way I have also used the Delco style DIS coil from Accel ,the yellow one ,for the leading but it did not last long with the amp .

Hmmm, see i was wondering if it was possible to use 2 coils for the primaries. Now how do I wire that up eactly? I wasn't sure if there was some kind of chip or modual in the coil making sure the double coil fired at the right time. How did you set yours up? Woudl a MSD 6A AMP (i have a mallory but its the same thing) be able to power all 4? By the way I hear AEM has a new AMP. Out of all the coils you have tried what do you rate as the most reliable and the best? Can you tell me how you wired the primaries?
