Anyone use 99rebar for FEED type II bumper

As I know. If we put a FEED Type II bumper on 93-96 FD. We have to take out the orginal rebar coz it will not fit for the 99 combo lights. However, taking out a rebar is very dangerous. Does anyone use this bumper with 99's rebar?
Or any latest version aftermarket bumper(with combo lights) and 99's rebar?

Are we talking about the metal bumper cross support? That would suck to have to remove. Maybe replace it with a tube style support. Like a roll cage.

BigIslandSevens--huh?

He is talking about the ABS white piece of plastic behind the bumper, called the REBAR, it holds the lights etc.

YES you need it or you can mod your current one SCARY

Yeah, it called reinforcement bar. I the aftermarket bumper use 99 combo lights. It requires use 99 rebar or take out the 93-96 rebar.

anybody, most anyway, that have a fmic do not have a bumper reinforcement, unless it is cut. To me if your going to cut it, you may as well remove it.
