anyone tried the blue dye
anyone tried the blue dye/liquid method for checking to see if you have exhaust gases present in your coolant. I saw it on some website. The blue dye or liquid turns yellow if there is.

built my own engine
put all water in your cooling system, might have to flush two or three times
then run it for a while, take some coolant out and drink it, if you taste gas, buy a motor

found this one the web
1. We use a dye and suck the fumes out of the radiator and run them through this blue dye. If the dye turns yellow, that means the presence of exhaust gases in the cooling system.
I must tell you I don’t think much of this test. The positive results of this test mean nothing ALL BY THEMSELVES.

Good luck with that!....I've only used the dye to see if there were external leaks of the cooling system. Hadn't seen the method your talking about. What site if you know off hand?
