I'm not a big fan of AEM, ever since I first tried their AEM PNP ECU and it would never start my car even after receiving the unit and them supposedly fixing it and sending it back. That was about 7 years ago so maybe their products have improved.
In any case the geek in me was fascinated by this product. At first i was like well thats kinda neat to have it work on your phone, but without logging its worthless. Then I saw you can send a 0-5v signal to a datalogger. For the price it seems like it does a lot of things, wideband controller and controls up to 2 EGT probes. But once you get past the wow factor of seeing your readings displayed on your phone, from a practical standpoint a fixed gauge is probably nicer.
Anyway found this interesting so figured I would post it up since I hadn't seen anything like this before.

I like this idea.
If im reading it correctly on AEMs site, you can still output to a normal gauge setup and have it also output to your phone wirelessly. Its a neat gadget, and something that you can show off to friends at the local hangout spot for that "wow" or "cool" factor

i am nothing but happy with AEM products i am using
AEM- widband ,water injection and boost controler..
so i think it would be just as good...
it all about proper installation
it dos not come with gauge... you need to use your i-phon ...blackberry... you still get .5v output for datalogit so you can datalog to your laptop or tune...

That would have been funny if they ran over the phone while filming it for you tube lol.
It does look like a pretty neat product, it actually does even more then I thought. For the money it does enough without the wifi broadcast. I can't remember but I spent somewhere between 2 and $300 for the LC1, which is just a wideband system with a datalogging output. For a little more you get the EGT logging and the wifi broadcast. You could even monitor EGT's and AFR's in a car next to or behind the car being monitored.... lol not sure why you would want to, but you could!
