If so, did you have to cut the fender for fitment? I set some up to my car and it was tight.

Anyone?

Thanks!

rfreeman does or did, no cutting but he did break alot of rears as a result. I guess with the live axle you shouldn't have much problem with that.

If you have a live axle are you not comparing apples to oranges?

I'm curious about this as well. Were people able to run a 28" tall slick on stock suspension?

Brian @ hinsonsupercars.com is running a 28" tall slick. I believe it is a 28x9... but I'm not positive. He has a Kazz, 300M axles and getting 1.4x 60ft times.

My solid rear end has nothing to do with fender clearance.

A 335-30-18" comes pretty close to being 28"s tall. I think 285-35-18 comes close too.

Why do you want to run a taller tire? You're going to be changing your final drive ratio by doing so. The extra sidewall might give you a little more slingshot effect but it's also going to make the car a little more sloppy as well. You seem to be going all out drag so you probably know more about this than me.

Not sure if I'm going with them or not. Worried that I'll be running out of gear towards the end of the run. Also want to go with a wide tire. 26X11.50-15LT are the widest the 26's go. 28's will go 28X13.50-15LT.
