IM GOING TO GET MY TRANNY RUBUILT AND I DONT KNOW IF I SHOULD OR COULD CHANGE THE GEARING? IS IT A GOOD IDEA OR NO? IM PLANNING ON ROAD RACING AND SOME DRAG.

 

You can change the gearing by mixing and matching parts from other Mazda trannys. A friend made the gear's in his 2nd gen race car custom by taking gears from a first gen tranny, a third gen tranny, and even a B2200? (the truck, anyway) tranny.
