ummm. that's a used car dealership. The $13.5k would be for the whole car...

Man that's expensive as fu*k for a used RX-7, I've seen nicer than that for half as much.

No, it is not $1500!! 1780000 is closer to $13k. But I agree that kit is damn ugly.

that rear makes the rx7 look very ugly, IMO. The FD looks great stock, only minor things will make it look better, not a whole different rear bumper. It doesnt even look like an rx7 anymore.

I don't know, it's a show car and is supposed to look outragous. I think it looks kinda cool, I would like to see it in a color other than pink. The non convertable doesn't look that bad either. If I was a multimillionaire and had a whole fleet of FDs I might do that to one of them... not my one and only FD though.

From the pictures posted above, I think it makes the FD look like it has an identity crisis. I think you could put your money to better use somewhere else on your car.

FYI, that pink RE-amemiya car has a porsche front end conversion and actually won best of show at the tokyo auto salon back in 99 or 2000 I can't remember. You can get the kit (either front or rear) from Tony at www.rxecret7.com I think he imported some of them a few months back. It could be someone on this forum???

Man thats bad news.

How can you not like the FD tailights?? There probably the best design element on the car, and one of the most elegant rear-end solutions on the road... certainly alot nicer than the C5 which looks like the body was being squeezed out like dough then chopped off w/ a meat cleaver.

i never said i didn't like the fd rear taillights, but i like the different look. and your probably right money can be spent somewhere else besides my car, but what fun would that be.

I meant spend it somewhere else ON the car be it wheels, performance parts, or something else.

I don't like it...it makes it look like a Porsche wanna-be..

The RX-7 has it's own pedigree..and I think it should stick with it's own looks...

Anyways..the rear end looks like a toad.

Which is why it's so nice to see almost the same design on the back of the Ford Taurus...

For a reason... the car is stable at 200+ mph directly from the factory because of its aerodynamics, which includes the meat cleaver rear bumper. Can you say the same for the RX-7?

I do believe the RX-7 had the design before the Taurus.

Ugg..there's no comparison.

nope, ford taurus. and money spent on the car in anyway is always extra money spent. (get it) its a hobby, and i like the fact that people try new and radical stuff. look through the forum, you'll see sr20 motors and v8s going in. i want to keep the factory motor but just go crazy with the body work (which i think cost less, in a way.). its to eaches own, but because most people don't have it here in the states and it is different and i do like it i'm going for it after the holiday season. do what you will with your fd but i think i can freak it.
