Anyone know the JDM passenger side door actuator part number??

Explain more about it - it's pretty reasonably priced, but I'm not that keen on the big remote with the screen and all. How has it saved your car twice?
Thanks,
Dale

I got the part, but haven't had time to work on it - I'm helping a buddy build a motor, and this is way down on the list of stuff to do. Not to mention I still need to get a keyless entry system to make it go
Tony, you could probably make some cash selling door latches . I'll see if I can get a pic of the one I got from Jack up and see if it's got a part number or anything on it.

Ok here's the deal. I've located 4 more of these door lock mecanisim's. I could only get hold of two and they went out right away. Dale and I believe Alan got there's so if anyone else is in need of one let me know know as when these are gone there like the outside door handles and it will be a who knows when kind of thing. You have a PM
What parts can you get? All necessary to make this a drop in I hope?
I know I could come up with something, its just the inside workings of these doors are too fragile, I would rather have something that just works right, proper pull and displacement of the inner mechanisms.

PM replied to. It's a direct drop in to an extent. The driverside has some switches mounted on it that have to be transferred to the RHD one. Nothing major as far as reworking it.

sold--no longer in debt
I put a "generic" door lock actuator in my drivers side door.. and has been working great for 6 months and counting now. I'll admit it was a pain getting the wires ran into the door, and the mounting perfect.. but it works perfectly.
The only reason I went keyless though is because I snapped 3 keys off in my drivers side door lock . Remote start is a cool feature to have too.

Lives on the Forum
My car had an aftermarket alarm with keyless entry when I bought it and it works perfectly. I've had the car over 5 years and the alarm wa installed at least a few years before I got it.
The actuator on the driver door is the generic made in China variety everyone uses but the installer was smart: He put a big z-bend in the linkage to act as a spring as well as ensuring the geometry is such a way that the actuator never tries to force the mechanism further than it is capable of moving.
I'm sure there are others out there but whoever installed the one in my car was one of the few to do it right.

Well, i'm going to attempt to try the LHD right door actuator for my JDM. I will have no micro switches but i wont need them anyway for my application. Will be using a viper 211 to remote keyless entry, just wont have manual progressive door unlock with the stock system. No biggie.
I'm assuming the FD01-58-310E will work physically in the JDM right side door.
Unless someone has tried it and it didn't work, please let me know.
