Anyone with an installed rear seat....

I have them all installed but the top has no latch, as expected, but I am unable to come up with a good solution to keep the seat back in the upright position. I know that we don't have the mounting point for this latch although all the other ones exist. What has anyone else done?

When I had mine they came complete but I guess just make a bracket and a slider like a public bathroom doors have. You do mean the latches that hold the back support to the rear plastics/access the trunk?

I actually just left mine. Never latched it. It has stayed in place for 3 years now.

If I brake hard they fold forward. The latch came with yours? The one that latches the top corners of the backrest peice? The original bracket was mounted to the shock towers but US FD's dont have the mount welded to the shock towers, at least I didn't think we did...

Mine are loose, too, but they stay in place just fine.

I fab'ed up a custom metal bracket for mine. There are access ports of some type on the sides where the rear hatch plastic goes around the shock towers. I removed that, and made a custom bracket that would bolt to the closest shock tower bolt and stick out through the access port for the seat back to latch. I then trimmed the plastic access ports to fit and put them back.

Works great thus far...
