Anyone have instructions for the old-school Greddy FMIC??

Or any pics of theirs installed??

I having problems figuring out how the A/C condenser is supposed to mount. The brackets I got with my kit look nothing like the ones in the newer version, which are illustrated here:

http://flathat.woodstream.net/RX7/Docs/Greddy_FMIC.html

I have four brackets for the a/c condenser, and the newer versions only have three...

They wont help you unless you can prove that you bought it from a greddy dealer. IN which case, they'll just tell you to go back to that greddy dealer and have them submit the request. They offer no support for secondhand parts.

So... does anyone know the Greddy part number or serial number of this kit?

BAH - I'd rather just have the hard copy. I'm pretty sure I know how everything goes in, but I'm missing one of the lower I/C brackets and just want to see how it looks so I can fab up a new one.

If you do get them you should post them here so that others can reference in the future, screw greddy's poor support for their products.

Well, I never did get the instructions, but managed to get it installed. Everything seems pretty straightforward except for mounting the A/C condenser core.

If anyone has any experience with this kind of intercooler, please let me know if I mounted the A/C condenser correctly.

This positioning of the a/c condenser seems like the only logical way it could fit, but my concern is there were four brackets that came with the Greddy kit. I can only get two to line up:

One on the left side:

And one on the right side:

Does this look right??

You may wish to reconsider. Even without any kind of instruction manual, the install for this kit is fairly straightworward, provided you have all the necessary brackets that come in the kit.

Pros of keeping this type of kit:

- does not completely block airflow to the radiator

- no trimming necessary to the bumper support or bumper cover [undertray cutting is still necessary, though]

- ability to keep the factory fog lights
