Anyone have fd assembly line pictures

I've been looking around for some and havn't had much luck. If you have any, post them up. I'm just interested to see what the line looked like.

Any pics would be greatly appreciated

May not be what exactly your looking for, but there are a couple of videos from MAZDA'S site of the casting of rotors and engine assembly (RE). Click on the 40th Anniversary link.

they don't mention the fd at all in the entire museum

but they do say that the mx-5 stands for "mazda experimental, project number 5"

that would make rx-7 "rotary experimental, project number 7".. if the person that wrote the captions had the history right(about mx-5)

i have a few assembly line pictures i think, that i can try to post tomorrow, from the out of print rx-7 book

No Pictures Allowed

I went to the Mazda factory a few times in Hiroshima. No pics were allowed once you got near the assembly line. I would imagine that some of the technology used was proprietary.

Sorry...

RX-7 Magazine in Japan had some pics of the assembly line making the last FD's (like in 2001 or 2002). Pics were cool, but you wanted MUCH more than the little they showed .
