Anyone have any pics or links to a subwoofer in the spare tire area?

I searched and can't find anything for our third gens....anyone have any experience with this?

I've been thinking that even if I did get a flat, I wouldn't use my spare tire anyhow because: #1 I wouldn't be able to fit my aftermarjet rim and tire in the truck without getting it all messed up, & #2...I have the mini compressor and gunk that seals up a tire with a minor flat. If it's anything more major, I'll tow it.

Any pics/ ideas would be much appreciated. Where to put the amp, materials to use, how it might sound compared to my box, etc.

Thanks a lot,

Ian

I wouldnt use fix a flat on any tire you want to keep. It destroys the tire.

This was what I did when I first bought it...

This is how the trunk looks today (changed some other things visible), speaker is still there, with the mesh grill over it, under the carpet. But now, the woofer sits tucked into the pass. corner as far as possible.

That's exactly what I want to do with mine...I like taking weekend trips and want as much trunk space as possible.

How did it sound? Where did you put the amp?

Thanks,

Ian
