Anyone familar with this FMIC Kit???

I am looking for a kit to nicely fill the grill on my Cwest kit, and this seems like it will fit the bill. Anyone have any experience with this kit? http://www.extremeturbosystems.com/c...products_id=33

The intercooler in the picture does not look like a bar and plate to me!

Doesnt look like a very good quality intercooler. Jason at RX7 Store has some greddy 2row FMIC's for cheaper than that anyways. It should fill up the front bumper cover nicely.

It's being sold on ebay but it's not a cheap ebay kit. I've spoken to people that purchased this kit and they are very satisfied. They said it's a well put togeather kit and comes with everything needed. If you're skeptical, give them a call.

My point was they are charging $850 for a cheap ebay FMIC with some piping, clamps, and couplers. Why would you pay that much for that when you get a better FMIC kit for nearly the same price from Greddy or others?

i guess ill look into it more. it seems like not many FMIC will fill up the 26X8" opening of the cwest kit.

This is not a kit that was put togeather with one of those $100 cores you see on ebay. This kit is put togeather at the shop and has been dyno tested. Look at the pipes, how many companies on ebay take the time to add a bead at the end of the pipes to prevent leak and slippage of the hose connectors? If you're skeptical, give them a call. Ask about a satisfaction gurantee and warrenty. Also, go onto ebay and e-mail some of the guys that purchased this kit. That is what I did.

The questionable claims in their text, with just enough numbers to sound plausible, do not inspire confidence.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1993-...spagenameZWDVW

890cfm @ 1.5psi - 600hp
What does this even mean? I presume they are trying to claim 890cfm airflow with a 1.5 psi pressure drop, but without rpm and boost level, this number means nothing. And where did the 600hp come from? Their ***, methinks.

Reduces Knock at higher boost levels
Cooling the air more will increase the chance of knock.

Allows Ample air to radiator
How, I wonder, since it

Fills whole grill with core
I think this last claim really gets to the point of this intercooler.

Though they have priced it about $600 too high for their intended eBay audience.

i've looked at that kit several times, seems really easy to install.. but no adjusting the angle of the radiator is what i really question about its efficiency... but then again.. i saw ARC's FMIC, and it doesn't look like they remount the radiator either...

greddy 2row from jason is definitly way better way to go and less risk than trying this out , + cheaper too
