anyone ever tried that e-shaft oil jet mod

if anybody has ever watched that rotary aviation video has anybody ever tried the 200 weber jet mod. its where you take the jet and like push it in the oil jets and then you omit the check ball and spring. i saw it on atkins website and it said not for street use. anybody ever had any experience with this. thanks

Not sure if this is the same thing as removing the thermal pellet, which is a fairly common mod.

no, it's not a thermal pellet bypass. it's for high rpm engines and changes the oil pressure i believe.

when it says not for street use, they're proibably not lying. are you planning on running a peripheral port?

I use mine for street use, but dont do many miles. I'm big half bridge port.

I'd rather be safe and use the extra oil to cool the engine. There was oil blow by from the rotor oil O-rings for the first 5 miles as I had oil in the inlet. But I dont have this problem anymore and the engine never goes above 101degs. Not sure on the oil pressure.

Oil pressure is at 4bar maybe slightly higher with the jets in place.
