Question Anyone ever change oil cooler line to Front housing ??

Anyone in here ever have to change their oil cooler line ?? This is one of the lines that comes off the oil cooler and goes into the top of the front housing. I have a seepage around that area and was wondering if anyone else had this problem. TIA.

I've not replaced it, but I am having a massive oil leak from this area. Pettit and Mazda tell me that it is probably the front cover. I am not convinced, though. Does look like the oil cooler hose connection to the motor...

This would be the perfect excuse to upgrade your cooler with one of the Mocal models from Crooked Willow.

Well, I know mine is coming from that line because it is a very slow leak. Actually it won't leak unless I am really getting on the RPM's. Ie. if I don't drive hard like I usually do on a daily basis (7k rpms) it will not leak at all. There's actually a small oil spot on the underside of my hood of oil where it shoots a fine mist of oil during WOT runs. The leakage at worst is a few ounces of oil every two weeks....which is a little more than normal oil consumption for the way I drive. Nevertheless there is oil dripping down the side of my engine and it needs to be fixed. Mazdatrix has this hose listed at $26. I just need to make sure it's the right one.

Those lines has a metal washer on the housing side and on the bango bolt your washer must be toast and probably need to be replace and it seem fit the description slow leak.
