I just wonder if this happens to anyone else. When I take something appart I ziplock and label all my bolts. But somehow nuts and bolts keep disappearing on me, which is especially frustrating when you just ordered from Ray and live in Canada so shipping is killer.

Hell no. mine inbreed with each other so that by the time I'm finished putting my engine together, I have a bucket full of bolts and nuts leftover.

Since I'm constantly deleting things I've got a box full of left over bolts and nuts.

Bye bye air pump, A/C, rat's nest, etc, etc

Yup - I usually have extra stuff. I have many random parts from cars that I have owned and worked on that I could never find a place for.

I typically have stuff left over as well, but that's usually do to a simplification of some sort. I have an entire box devoted strictly to "extra nuts and bolts from cars" , comes in really handy .

i generally lose bolts and have leftover bolts at the same time. Usually the one i lose is a size i don't have. I just get what i need at the hardware store if i don't have it
