Question Anyone dremmeld out 52mm center pod?

Has anyone dremmeled out the 52mm dual gauge center pod to fit 60mm gauges?

I'd like to do this but need to confirm it works.

Thanks!

Yes it works, done it a couple of times on my friends cars, just have the 60mm guage handy, so you don't over do it, remember it has to fit snug.

You've done this for center pods? NOT a-pillar pods. If so, do you know who made the center speaker gauge pods? Thanks!

Sorry, didn't read the post properly, I meant the A pillar, not the center speaker mount pods, but I don't see any problem as long as there is clearance on the bottom, measure the guage against the pod to check the clearance within the guage and the dash if you were to make the hole bigger if it looks like it'll fit, go for it. Just make sure to shave more material towards the top of hole, like that the guage will not touch the dash on the bottom.

FD_Newb, if you don't mind me asking why did you by 60mm gauges if you already had a 52mm pod?
