anyone with a Bug Shield "Bra" -Question

Can someone tell me how the Bra is supposed to attach at the top (hood) area?

the three little hooks look like they should go around that silver rounded edge, but that might not be the correct places?

thanks for any knowledge,

ppritchard@cfl.rr.com

I have no experience with a bra on an FD.

I can only ask, is it for a road trip? Otherwise, you aren't doing your bumper a favor, or the looks of the car for that matter.

Yes, for trips and heavy bug times in Florida. Lovebugs and such really kill the bumper paint certain times of year here.

In the last pic, you loosen up the nut supporting the bumper (shown in pic), until you get a large enough gap to insert the hook. Then tighten down the bolt and it will be securely in place. I use mine religiously on longer drives, or club drives where I know the likelihood of small rocks or pebbles on the road is high. It's saved my bumper several times from excessive chipping!

RCCAZ 1,

When hooked up right, does the top lay "under the hood when closed or does it just lay along the edge?

Thanks for the answer on the nut.
