Anybody using SR Motorsports SMIC?

I just picked one up off ebay for $500, here's the info on sr's site:

SR Upgrade High Performance Intercooler
This is the SR custom built intercooler that fits in the factory location.
It is an exact bolt in. It is 3.5 inches thick and has over 269 inches of surface (compared to only 129 for the stock intercooler) At 10 psi the charge temperature was only 104 degrees on a 62 degree day with only 1.42 psi of pressure drop. It does not require the battery to be relocated or any other modifications. Made of brushed aluminum.

I searched but didn't find too much info... Anybody out there using it?

I saw that one, best bang for the buck, needs some modification of stock duct to fit, I saw all that. I was just looking for more opinions

I have that IC in my car. It is a tight fit. Be very careful of the lower IC hose rubbing on the main pulley. It is also taller than the stock and my RP AST just touches the hood. I still need to slot the bracket a bit to take care of that.
In all I think $500 is a good price for it, that is what I paid as well and I am happy with it.

Oh yeah, I didnt modify my stock duct. I probably should do something though because the IC core goes about an inch above the top of the duct, definately more usable surface area that I am not taking advantage of.
