I've ordered a couple of things from them for delivery to the UK with no problems whatsoever....However I had to pay a certain amount of import duty on the items. Check out what the situation is in the US before ordering

I was curious on how much import duty there really is? I've ordered things from Hong Kong, and have never had to pay any sort of import tax. My only thing was the package(s) was kept at Customs for a week for clearance.

Just because the package comes from Japan, does it mean that it has to be taxed (as opposed to Hong Kong and no tax)? Im sorta lost on this. Can someone please post a link to a site with all of the postal regulations?

It really depends on the cost of the item. I cannot remember what the cutoff point was, but when I ordered a Panspeed wing from them, I did not have to pay duty on it (service was great btw...). I believe they claimed the value at $12,500Yen and sent the actual bill seperately. They cannot always do that as it depends on what you order.

For what it's worth here in the UK sometimes you get lucky and it sometimes just passes through the system without any taxes being added. I honestly think it's down to the luck of the draw and maybe how big the box is

My friends have ordered little things from them like high flow cats, etc and had great service with them, also they didn't pay any import taxes. But most of the stuff was under $200.00 u.s.
