Haha, honestly man i'm not even sure if I could sell it for 40k. I love the car so much I'd break down emotionally and probably go insane without it.

on second though, Black 99, next 2 months, i'll post pix of my car, no longer for sale. Silver on red would actually look nice

Hahaha... That's cool though because at 5k I think you'd be cheating yourself on that deal. Hell I know I'd feel bad paying 5k for it..

BTW, isn't this preeeetty???

Now *that* is a sweet FD. As I look at this pic I'm thinking about the rx7 vs s2k thread and thinking, (aside from a reliability standpoint) why in the holy hell would someone want an s2k over an FD?

I love my car to death, but for $19k my feelings can change.

basically a VERY well kept 93 VR touring. Stage 3 + mods, Usual suspension mods +rollbar, Corbeau seats. Original motor with 98k still runs strong, great compression.

people are pming me and when I ask them how much they never reply.. ***** im sorry, but 15-16k is to much for a car that has 80k+ miles with original engine.. If the car is worth that to you then dont sell it.. I couldnt even sell my car for $12.5K with 70k miles..

Thats because you live in Alabama . I dont think Jap. sports cars are as high demand as they are here in CA.

LilFatCrazyWop: Are you a ******* reject?

Who wants a touring?????
ummm it just has a sunroof, leather, cruise control, bose radio. Mine has every option possible except for factory ground effects.
So it's missing another oil cooler and stiffer suspension.
I got another oil cooler from a european r1 so now I have 2 oil coolers like the r1 and the suspension doesn't matter. Most people that have 93s will change it out even if they have a r1 or a touring because their car has near 100k miles. Mine has 68k miles and it's a 93 so I will leave it for now.

You really said something dumb you deserve to be punched but hopefully you get it now?
I think a touring is the best model to start with so you can have the best of everything. Speed and luxury.
In fact I don't think I would enjoy the car as much without the sunroof and I love the feel of the leather and I haven't had any problems with sliding around on it since I'm not a pro racer.

think before you post

Snook: Not everyone has the same opinion about what options are important. That's the reason they have options.

Personally, I don't want the added weight of a sunroof, rear wiper, or Bose radio.

But it's ok that you do.

John: very well said
I was just offended by the way he said it
It sounded like he was saying my car was a piece of **** and who the hell would want that since I have a touring.
I agree that options are there for a reason and I'm glad I have all of them.
I don't mind the weight of the sunroof because I love it and the rear wiper is kind of cool and the bose radio I will be replacing soon.
I doubt all 3 of those things you mentioned are a lot of extra weight. I'd rather have all the options and then get 15 more hp to make up for the weight of them if needed.
My car is not a drag car so I don't need to strip it, I use it for everything and it is still fast enough for me.

Just so everyone knows, tourings weigh 62lbs more. Take out the bose (which I think is crap anyways) and spare tire and your within a few pounds.

Yeah, I went back and read his post. It does seem awfully silly to make such a big deal about such relatively minor differences between all the models.

I'm just happy to have one at all...
