I have one and love it. It really shortened the shifts. No more missing 3rd.

Are you referring to the "APEX" item sold on ebay for like $100? If so, I'd be curious to see how it's shaping up too, though I doubt I'd buy one since it's an obvious ploy to make people think it's Apex'i, which is just deceitful.

ITS FREAKIN AWESOME... VERY VERY short shift, feels almost like a snap shifter, i can not miss third and CAN NOT accidently hit 5th, its nearly impossible. There are actually springs in the shifter that make the right left movement almost NULL. In second gear you can punch the shifter straight up and it will hit 3rd no problem!

Here's the response I got from a guy on the forum that I pm'd with q's abou this experience with the ebay shifter... BTW, I'm glad it's working for you guys.
I ended up buying a used B&M.

Re: ebay shifter
the shifter bascame a little sloppy, and began making more noise. I finally took it out and put the old one back in. Save your money and get a B&M!

oakridgerx7,

I saw your post about the shifter. I am thinking of buying one. How is yours working? has the noise level subsided like they say on ebay? Would you buy it again?

Thanks,

John
