Any pointers on replacing engine harness

I realized it is time for a new harness, mine is really beat and is the root of my ignition problems. I will be replacing it with the engine in the carand i was just wondering if anyone has any tricks to make it easier.

You still have the ABS system? Prepare to curse a lot at the firewall pass-through!

Take your time. It's a slightly frustrating but straightforward task.

The only real headaches are the thermosensors. There is one for fuel and one for coolant. The sensors are the same, but in different locations so you can mess up which connector from the ECU goes to which sensor. Use the wiring diagram to verify the proper wire colors for the connectors.
