Any interest in midpipes for under $230 shipped?
I might be able to buy in bulk and get a good deal on midpipes with some sort of center section used to muffle the noise a bit. I'm building one for my own car at the moment and was wondering if this is something FD owners would be interested in.
The piping will be 100% stainless steel with mandrel bends. As for the midsection, I am not sure at the moment.
I'm not selling anything for now, I'm simply gauging interest in a midpipe that I feel would be more affordable than what is currently on the market. Pics and sound clips will be available soon.

I did a quick search of resonated midpipes and the ones I found were around $300, not including shipping.

Hm, for a res m/p that is a pretty good deal. I know I am very very happy with my res m/p, which has a magnaflow muffler inline.

I have a magnaflow 3" res. mp also. Along with a greddy PE, my car is super-quiet (necessary in SoCal). I think I paid ~$225-$245 picked up.
That being said.... no, I don't think most forum members will pay $230 shipped for a new one. Most already have what they want, whether it be straight mp, hi-flow cat, or stock.
Also, if you offer it for $230, you'll get offers for $200
