Any idea how i can get my glovebox open?

when i first got my FD...

i had to jiggle and wiggle the Glove box handle to get it to open...

one day I found out it just stopped working, the best part is that i had gotten pulled over for loud exhaust.. and couldn't produce my registration or insurance.. that was fun!

so yea.. any ideas how to get at closed Glove Box open without permanent damage?

Might be able to undo the two screws that hold the hinge in at the bottom. That might give enough slop to get it open.

Small screw driver, look under the handle for the metal bar that the handle pushes to open.

Your going to have to replace the handle , and the lock

I took a hacksaw blade and cut the metal loop through the crack at the box opening and then replaced that loop for like $5. Not sure if this is the best way but it worked.
