Any of the Gurus out here interested in dissecting burnt HKS TwinPower??

Some time ago my first HKS Twin Power burnt, along with the leading coil and this caused my smb metal cat to melt down; I have since replaced all but the cat (open pipe now).

Since its just laying there and there has been some debate as to wether it actually boosts spark or only adjusts dwell time or whatever I wonder if any of the knowledgeable guys here is interested in having it for scientific purposes.

I'd send it your way free of charge, along with the burnt leading coil, and all I want in return is a detailed dissection with pictures and explanation of components and how it actually works.

Let me know, or I could just sell it on ebay as a damaged for-parts-only unit...

I'm curious, what kind of plugs were you using, resistor or non-resistor?

I'm kinda worried now because I am going to run the twin power with non-resistor B10EGV plugs. Good luck with an analysis and keep us updated with the results.

C. Ludwig knows a lot about ignition systems and dwell. He's the one who figured out the Power FC dwell settings actually https://www.rx7club.com/power-fc-forum-47/pfc-dwell-752360/ PM him about it in case he doesn't see this thread.
