hmm.well I dont have a wing on mine. I removed the fog lights.
I took the bose out.Im going to remove the cruise controll. So that should be lighter than the 2923.Im constantly looking for ways to reduce weight.
Oh yeah I also dont have the stock precat anymore and also the stock catback is also gone.I wonder how much poundage I shed so far

The only way to find out for sure is to find a truck scale, or find a raceshop that has the ability to do corner scale weighing.

Here's a friend's weight sheet for his '94 R2. Non-sequential, full exhaust, ASP medium intercooler, etc.

I'm sure I've seen in the data/stats page contained in: RX-7 by Yamaguchi/Dinkle
I'll look for it tomorrow, scan and post the page.

I'm sort of wondering the same. I'm running 4.3 gears, apexi intake, ss dp, rb dual tip, xs eng ecu.

I've weighed my FD several times at the local scales. It always comes in between 2890 and 2910 lbs. Base model, this was weighed after the downpipe was removed by the way.

Jimlab....you ALWAYS have some great data!

Hi guys... Just out of curiosity, I am more intrested in finding out how much HP can the standard auto tranny take before it goes KABOOMM!!! and is there any upgrades to be done to the auto tranny for it to handle bigger HP? As we all know the standard manual tranny can only handle so much HP before it becomes useless and there are tons of different after market clutches out there for you to choose from. If the auto can handle significantly higher HP wht not. (For none race application )

Here's the page that seems to indicate identical 0-60 and 1/4 mile e.t. for the MT and AT FD. The left column represents MT FD data. When the AT FD data is identical to the MT FD data, a small arrow on the right column (AT FD data) will be pointed towards the MT FD data. (I just confused myself)....

I get it. "xmsn" translates into "transmission". I learned something today!

Well, we know immediately that the data is inaccurate... look at the projected gas mileage numbers.

Seriously, I'd be very surprised if those figures were for U.S. production cars, and we do know unequivocally that the automatics are considerably slower than the manuals.
