An answer to our fragile coolant seals?

Could Hayes have the answer to our infamous coolant seal problems?

I think we can ignore most of the hype on that page, but the question still remains: Has their "research and development" yielded a solution that is at least marginally better than the OEM replacement seals??

What other options are available for the discriminating rotareteur in pursuit of protecting the longevity of their O-ring seals?

The O rings can be strong as hell...but what that won't stop Housings from warping. Once the housings warp, there will no longer be a seal.
