Another.. Will not fire thread

After plenty of searching and testing I am running out of ideas.
I have had problems before only to find and correct myself so I am not a newbie at this.
Problem at hand.. Will not crank over.
Things checked:
1. Have fuel, spark (all checked ignitor, coils, plugs and wires) and timing (crank angle sensors working).
2. Compression is fine.
3. Deflooded procedures followed and still no luck.
4. Checked the fender liner and no signs of tire rubbing to cause harness failure.
I went to fire up the car after it sat for a week of running fine on a 1500 mile + trip to DGRR. Immediately I knew there was a problem. Checked the EGI fuse and it blew. Put a new one in to see if it would blow again (short) and it did not. The car will not fire and fuse stays intact.
I have had harness problems before (alternator wiring) which would cause the egi fuse to blow and subsequently found the short and fixed. Problem solved. I dont understand why if there was ashort of some kind causing the car not crank why the fuse wouldnt blow again. Unless that wire is totally disconnected (burnt through now).
Anyone have other ideas as to where to start looking.
I am running microtech and I am NOT getting any warning indicators or failures. ECU system lighting is good.
Any ideas from the advanced gurus would help. Thanks G

Did you inspect the EGI relay?

Is the car not cranking or just not firing?

Are you 100% sure you have a good spark on ALL the plugs? Are you sure the injectors are actually firing? I had a problem once where someone relocated their battery and left a bolt out of the fuse box where the positive battery post originally was. There is a bus bar inside there. Without the bolt it wasn't making a proper connection. Car still had power but wouldn't fire.

I put an inline spark tester between the plug and the plug wires and all 4 showed good spark. I'll check the bus bar as my battery is relocated. G

Pull the plug wires off one by one and carefully have them arc against something. I use a spare spark plug and touch it to the frame usually. A spark tester won't give you an indication of how strong the spark is.

I tried that at first and the plug wire shocked the **** out of me (holding it).

I have another set of plug wires and some coils on the way. Didnt know the plug tester could be that inaccurate.

WTF? I pulled the CAS plugs off and checked the indicator light on the microtech and no signal ( which is what should happen). Put both wires back on and got a normal ecu response but the car gave a bit of indication it wanted to go. I pumped the **** out of the pedal and it fired. I coudnt have been that flooded. I deflooded it 3 times earlier this week. Oh well. I am still going to get new primaries before my single arrives. We'll see if it happens again. As soon as I post a "help thread" the gremlins go and hide. Go figure. Thanks for the replies guys.

The car will not run if the primaries are not firing. I'd pull them out and either have them rebuilt or get new ones if they are at all questionable. Ive also had leaky injectors that would keep flooding the car as soon as I tried to start it. What are you running for primaries?

Stock 550's for primaries. I drove it and it seemed fine. I am going to put new 550's in when I get my single. These have 100,000+ miles on them.

Have you pulled the primary rail and verified that the injectors are actually firing? Just pull the primary rail( your car is non-seq so it is easy), disconnect the coil packs, then have someone crank the car to verify the injectors are firing. Make sure to put a towel beneath the injectors and tell the person to only crank the car for about 1-2 seconds and it will shoot fuel everywhere if they are firing
