another white smoke thread...

i have searched all the white smoke threads i could find. some of them were slightly relevant but not entirely. there was a general theme with them though... lets see if i get the same answer...

the issue is, i only get white smoke after flooring it through a couple gears, usually 1-3rd. i only did it twice since this problem, started. the first time i didnt know it would happen and the second time because i didnt think it was going to happen again.

it only blows white smoke for maybe 30seconds then stops. it will only happen when i take it to around 6k. the 2 times it happened.

my mod list is as follows:
hks 3in downpipe with 3 1/4in exhaust all the way back
stock twins
recently did the hose techniques vacuum line change
blitz smic
apexi intake with custom pipes
efini y pipe
air pump-less
alluminum radiator with silicone hoses

thats all i can think of that would be relevant. if there is something else anyone would need to know please ask. i can drive the car normally all day and no issues of any kind will arrise. but the 2 times i floored it and the smoke came i was worried so i have been taking easy until i can find a solution to this.

any help is appreciated...

Dont know what to tell your about you specific problem but I can say that with your mods you should be running an aftermarket ECU and a tune. With your open exhaust and intake your probably boosting far above stock levels.

Does the smoke happen when you let off the gas after a hard run?

I suggest placing a catch can of some sort running off your oil filler neck to the inlet on the turbo. I had similar issues and this solved it

yes... but by "hard run" i only did a couple gear pulls... followed by normal driving... also, i have a power fc i just have to find someone who can tune it... im running the stock ecu for now until then.
