OR Another stupid no start problem...

So... its been a long day today. Last week I took my gas tank to get cleaned out because it was pretty gross inside. I got that back and put it back in. I just got my holley hydramat and put that in today. Then I tried to start it, no luck. It turned out to be reversed fuel pump wires. So with that fixed, I primed it and fuel is flowing just fine. It'll crank all day with no start. I took the spark plugs out and they had some fuel on them. So I deflooded it and cleaned the spark plugs. Still no luck.

I didn't mess with anything under the hood. I just checked the fuses and relays. and I charged the battery

Also it is worth noting that it was running just fine about 3 weeks ago. That's when I took the gas tank out. I did have another starting issue, but it was a bad starter and that's fixed. Also it has gas. 6 gallons of it too. I had to make a few trips to the gas station as I only have 2 one gallon containers.

I'm going to try again tomorrow and check spark and see if the injectors are click'n.

I'm guess'n that I probably have spark because my tach jumps a bit when cranking.

Any help is appreciated.

Well it works now. I checked for spark and put the plugs in and it started.

And as an added bonus the AC works now.

So, drop the gas tank = working AC

Glad you got it going!
