ANOTHER idle Q after searching(a lot!)

ok so my idle was hunting...to the point people thought i wanted to race them....so ive disconnected what i am fairly sure is the IAC.

>>its the white plug behind the UIM right?

so that should clear up
but im doing this because i put a new ecu in and i have a 1st gen dawes led air/fuel monitor. ive been running octane boost cuz im running a litlle scared. i dont boost much at all or take it past transition so just to clear this up one more time. im sure i would have blown the engine by now if i were lean but.....

>>green = rich on dawes A/F?

thankyou so much

I think so. I can't remember the color, but it is on the back of the UIM, and looks like a little motor. Did it change your idle when you unplugged it?

You may have a vacuum leak somewhere. I had a very high and hunting idle, and it turned about to be a blown LIM gasket.
