Another helicoil question
Ok guys,
I have another helicoil question for you all. When I pulled my engine I found that one of the bolt holes that holds the exhaust manifold to the engine was stripped out. I drilled it out and put in a helicoil. Now for my question. The hole is deep enough that with the helicoil in there, I can still see 2-3 threads of the tapped hole that aren't covered with the helicoil. Should I bother sticking a second helicoil in there to cover the remaining tapped threads and then breaking off the tang on the second coil, or should I just not worry about it?

just make sure the helicoil starts on the very begining of your tapped threads, and leave the un-helicoil part in the back. ( I hope I am making sense). If not, when you put your bolt in, it might chew up your thread again.
