Im asking 15k for my auto and its 10X better cond than that! Plus it only has 40K original miles. I may be a little loopy, but that guy is smokin crack.

tphan is right though, some little rich kid will buy it and blow it up.

I like MB, but hate tan interior and autos. Boo!!! Black interior FTW

click on the photos to see more. They are all blurry so you cant tell exactly how the condition of the car is. I love dealers

KBB Retail: $25,280. They're taking a hit on it probably. The fact that it's a 95 helps alot. If it was a 93, you couldn't give it away.

pitted bumper, paint peeling on pass side door?

I paid $19k (dealer) for my stock 95 VR PEP (5-spd) with 54k miles on it, almost 5 years ago. 18k for an auto with damaged paint is a joke, even for a 95.

wow, and in another thread i'd imagine you will all bitch about how FD's are becoming worthless because people are selling them for so cheap . You guys need to make up your minds, either they are worth money, or they aren't. Its gotta start somewhere guys, ripping on people trying to get money out of a collectors car (lesser model or not) is NOT the way to get the resale on our cars back up.

its 1995, there are only what 10 may be 15 1995 rx-7s left on the continent. and it is rare, how many 1995 rx7s do you know of? I was looking for a 1995 rx7 for two years, I couldn't find one. I'm lucky that I found a 1994 R2 1.5 months ago. I would pay $18K for a 1995 rx7. In autotrader there was a couple of 1993 rx7 a little wile ago, one was asking around $20K it had some modifications, another was for $16500 auto, completely stock. I do not believe that the resale value of these car is falling at least not the FD, may be athe previous gen rx7 have a low rsale value, but I was looking specifically for a 1995 year, so I'm not aware of the price on the previous gen. Auto transmission is more expensive than the 5spd. Although I prefer 5 spd. Dealer always, no matter if its an rx7 or a corolla, has $2500 - $3000 profit margin. They expect people to come to them and negotiate. It's also a popular car, there is very limited numer of rx7 left and a lot of people are looking for an rx7 thats why the price doesn't fall, like for example on a 1997 corolla.

Auto cars with peeling paint aren't worth 18k, 95 or not. The markup here is because it is a dealer. However, the peeling paint is a HUGE negative and would be fixed by any reputable dealer IMO.

18k for 95 ain't bad. there is only 500 brought that year....most of which were probably manual. So in a way the automatic is "rare". Plus you got to keep in mind, from a dealer's point of view automatics are luxury..therefor would cost more then a manual. You can always buy a new manual car for $2-4k cheaper then the new auto. 18k for THIS car is a whole different story. This car isn't worth 18k at all

I understand everyones logic and why the car is priced the way it is. But its kind of annoying to have everyone bitch in one thread that FD's aren't worth anything anymore, and then turn around in another thread and bitch about how everyone elses FD's are so overpriced. Either FD's are worth the money or they aren't, there isn't this middle ground where you can pick and choose which FD's are worth a lot and which are worth nothing. Some will be more some will be less, but this attitude of "thats so overpriced" will eventually end up killing the FD's resale all together, and we will only have ourselves to blame. We own collectors cars people, WE set the pricing structure, but if we fold at the knee's the price will just keep dropping, so instead of telling people their price is to high, maybe everyone should take a step back and re-evaluate how much THEY are asking for their collectors car.

I agree with you. I just hate autos....and you have to admit that "peeling paint" should pretty much nosedive the price.

eh, there are bigger factors than peeling paint in my mind, it would definitly detract from the price you are right about that though.
