another day wasted

well i have done nothing today but call everyone that i could find on here to try to find out what is wrong with my car and now after two weeks spending around 8 hours a day trying to figure this car out it is worse than it was now it will barely idle and still backfires if you touch the gas, any more ideas on what to check? or anyone want to buy it.

Another double post...

I hate it when you spend a forever trying to figure something out, only to come up empty-handed. My condolences bud...

Anyways..that sucks quite a bit man..but I always though if it was a backfire it means you're getting TOO much unburnt fuel?

You just need to stick with it. When the dust settles, you will be glad that you did. Remember, you can only lose if you quit, or if you die.

Are you getting any black smoke? Cuz a while back I had similar symptoms where my car would idle so rough that it stalled everytime I came to a stop at a light and black smoke was pouring out the exhaust like a chimney. Turned out to be a hose that came off the gas filter underneath the MAP sensor.
