Another coolant buzzer thread....

I just finished removing my a/c, p/s, and changed my spark plugs. I started my car and after about 15 seconds....BEEEEEEEEP. The coolant level is fine, and the car has never had any problem leaking or smoking.

Car was fine before this, with the exception of my tach going wacko on me. Any ideas on what this is...or maybe even how I could have done this working on it? I didnt think the a/c or p/s were related to the cooling system, but maybe im wrong.

Did you unplug or damage the wire to the coolant level sensor? That would trigger the buzzer.

I dont think so, i didnt mess with that part of the engine.

There were a few wires connected to the A/C that I unplugged. Would those have any effect on this? I checked the wire on the filler neck and it didnt look damaged.

There's a wire in the general area of the spark plugs that sets off the buzzer if disconnected. I'm sorry I can't be more specific, it was a few years ago that I got caught on that one. Also, if I remember correctly, the buzzer will still go off after you reconnect the wire for about 15 secs before it goes off. Good luck.
