Question Another BOV question, hopefully someone knows.

how do you make your blow off valve make the "twittering" noise. It kind of sounds like the turbo cars in Tokyo extreme racer 2. Or who makes a BOV that sounds like that?

I just installed my HKS sounds sweet as hell. Almost like two pieces of metal being hit hard together for a split second...

I think the best sounding BOV that makes the "fluttering" sound is the greddy type R. Single turbo only though.

to make that sound u have to give it gas then push in the clutch at low rpm's and it will have enough backpressure to open it but it doesn't have enough to keep it open and that is where u get that noise like in tokyo extreme racer. u don't buy a bov that sounds like that. just let off at low rpm and it will do it.

Lots of time that fluttering sound is just compressor surge.
