Always something

Alright so i eliminated my airpump with the greddy pulleys, but i didnt block off my intake or the other places the hoses from the airpump went, so when my car idles, it just goes from 1k rpm to 2k rpm and back and forth, it sounds like im constantly reving it, is this because i didnt block that stuff off or is it something else

also something kinda funny happened tonight, as i was driving, my windsheild wipers just RANDOMLY turn on, and stayed on. Dk whats up with that either

High performance cars will always have issues. The goal is just to elimate as many problems as possible. You won't get rid of them all.

Maybe it's a slow learner ? ? ? Sorry couldn't resist. It's not uncommon for it to happen with the factory ECU (always good to unplug the air pump and see if it affects idle before doing away with it) but since you have the PFC the block off plates may solve your problem, try plugging the pipes and see if it gets better.

You should buy a block off plate kit and block all of the air pump stuff, remove the double throttle, acv, egr and other such nonsense. Also they say to let the car idle with the rear defroster on for it to learn. I dont know if it makes any difference. Luck to you!
