Alternator Warning Lights

Alternator Warning Lights
Just sharing my experience and solution.
At idle and driving I got water, oil, and battery lights as well as a rough idle.
My battery is fine, just got it less than a year ago. I noticed the lights would come on and rough idle when the air pump turns off. I tested the voltage, 14.3V with air pump on, 15.2V with air pump off. I was thinking it was maybe a little too high.
I searched the forums and most fingers pointed to the alternator.
I took my alternator to 3 stores, Autozone, Riebes [Napa], and O'Reilly's [Kragen] all passed my alternator, which has about 25k miles on it. I got a fail at Autozone (but i suspect their cable was bad). So I was able to purchase a remanufactured alternator.
Guess what, new alternator solved the problem. When I took the core in, it still passed.
